  2.                            VGAMoire 1.4b Registration
  3.                            --------------------------

  5.                 VGAMoire is not Public Domain, nor is it FreeWare.  It
  6.         is a ShareWare product.  This means that you can evaluate it for
  7.         a reasonable amount of time: ten days.  After this period, you
  8.         must decide whether you want to continue using VGAMoire.  If you
  9.         do not want to use it anymore, then you should remove it from
  10.         your system (or pass it on to a friend or a bulletin board
  11.         system).  However, if you decide that VGAMoire is useful to you
  12.         and you intend to continue using it, you must register your
  13.         copy.  To register VGAMoire, read the instructions below (site
  14.         licenses are available at a special price, see below).  With
  15.         your registration, you will receive a number of special
  16.         benefits.

  18.                 Whether you are a registered user, or just evaluating
  19.         VGAMoire, you are strongly encouraged to give suggestions, make
  20.         complaints, and bestow compliments.  Please be sure to report
  21.         any problems or possible bugs to me, so that I can fix them.

  24.                        Registration for Individual Users
  25.                        ---------------------------------

  27.                 To register VGAMoire for use on a single machine, print
  28.         this document and fill out the form at the end.  You have a
  29.         choice of registering the copy you have, or of ordering the
  30.         latest version of VGAMoire.  To simply register the version you
  31.         have, send the completed form and a check or money order for $15
  32.         to the address given below.  If in fact you do not have the
  33.         latest version, you will be notified and will be given the
  34.         option to order an upgrade for $5.

  36.                 If you would like to order the latest version right
  37.         away, send $20 (instead of $15) and the completed form to the
  38.         address given below.  If it happens that you already have the
  39.         latest version, you will be notified and will be sent the next
  40.         release when it becomes available.  Otherwise, you will be sent
  41.         a copy of the latest version.

  45.         registration will get you.

  48.                                  Site Licenses
  49.                                  -------------

  51.                 A "site license" allows you to use VGAMoire on as many
  52.         machines as you want or need to--provided that VGAMoire is used
  53.         only within your "site" (an office department, a university, a
  54.         corporation, etc).  It is much more cost-effective for both
  55.         parties involved if an institution buys a site license.  For
  56.         example, if an office department with 50+ microcomputers decides
  57.         it would like to use VGAMoire on all its machines, it would be
  58.         much more convenient and less expensive to buy a site license
  59.         for their department.  This way, VGAMoire can be used not only
  60.         on the existing machines, but also on any machines that are
  61.         later added to the department, all for one price.

  63.                 To obtain a site license, print this document and fill
  64.         out the form on the last page.  Be sure to fill out the section
  65.         entitled "Site Licensing".  Send the completed form and a check
  66.         or money order for the appropriate amount ($140 or $260, as
  67.         determined by filling out the Site Licensing section of the
  68.         registration form).

  70.                 Once a site is registered, it may obtain new versions of
  71.         VGAMoire for $50.  The site license is extended to apply to the
  72.         new version, once it is purchased for $50.

  76.         what your registration will get you.

  79.                        Special Benefits from Registration

  82.                 Before you send the registration form, please take a
  83.         moment and use the reverse side of it to list any suggestions,
  84.         complaints, compliments, observations, or other comments you
  85.         have regarding VGAMoire.
  86.         
  87.                 Once your registration form is received with the
  88.         registration fee, you will be sent a printed newsletter
  89.         providing important information on obtaining technical support.
  90.         The newsletter offers a discussion of the program's
  91.         capabilities, as well as a more detailed discussion on a number
  92.         of technical aspects and "programming notes".  In addition, the
  93.         newsletter gives examples of how to optimally configure VGAMoire
  94.         for your system.  Any additional late-breaking news is also
  95.         included.  You will also receive a list of other ShareWare
  96.         programs by Christopher Antos which you can order.

  98.                 After you have registered VGAMoire, you will be notified
  99.         of all future releases, and will be eligible to receive them for
  100.         a $10 fee, which may include a special discount.  The discount
  101.         will vary, depending on the magnitude of the upgrade (if
  102.         relatively little has been changed or improved, the discount
  103.         will be large; if major improvements or features have been
  104.         added, the discount will be small or non-existant).

  106.                 You will also be eligible for direct technical support,
  107.         either by telephone, by U.S. mail, or by electronic mail.
